The Bishop John T. Walker School for Boys is a tuition-free Episcopal school for children from traditionally underserved communities. The School nurtures the spiritual, intellectual, social-emotional, artistic and physical development of its students in a Christian community of learners that welcomes boys of all faiths and beliefs. Inspired by The Phillips Collection’s mission of promoting art for all, the Phillips is honored to have joined the Town Hall Education Arts and Recreation Campus (THEARC) as a resident partner in 2016. The Meditation Center (TMC), a division of the David Lynch Foundation, opened its doors in January 2018 to promote the health and well-being of residents in Wards 7 and 8. TMC serves youth, adults, and seniors by offering courses in the evidence-based Transcendental Meditation. Learn More.
