Inspired by The Phillips Collection’s mission of promoting art for all, the Phillips is honored to have joined the Town Hall Education Arts and Recreation Campus (THEARC) as a resident partner in 2016. The Phillips is committed to strategically deepening its relationships across Washington, DC, and we have devoted ourselves to establishing authentic partnerships with communities East of the River to co-create opportunities for mutual learning, artistic exchange and growth.

Phillips@THEARC provides arts-infused programs that promote creativity and wellness in our Living Room Gallery and Creativity Workshop to K12 teachers and students, parents and caregivers, and older adults.  Residents of Wards 7 and 8 are invited to actively engage as individuals and families in community-based art, history and culture with a creative twist at Phillips@THEARC.
