LET'S TALK HIGHLIGHTS!
Skyland Workforce Center, has spent the last couple of weeks hosting great participants for our Hiring fair, Hospitality training, Federal workshop and 8-day construction class! We are excited and thrilled that we were able to connect ward 8 participants with local employers such as Amazon DSP, DC Central Kitchen, The Meditation Center and Express professionals. Participants were also able to receive finical literacy support, Career coaches and a certification in OSHA-30, CPR and flaggers along with a food handlers license!
