DC artists Martha Jackson Jarvis and Njena Surae Jarvis's art piece was selected as the 11th Street Bridge Park's first and largest public artwork. The interactive sculpture will be stationed as a gateway to the park.

The site for this artwork will act as a gateway to the 11th Street Bridge Park and in a highly visible, public green space along the river’s edge that is referred to as the “Anacostia Approach.”
OMA reveals updated design for Washington DC garden bridge
The update follows the National Capital Planning Commission's approval of the scheme to construct a park spanning Washington DC's Anacostia River earlier this month. OMA and Olin, who won a competition to redesign the area in 2014, have now released new renderings that detail 11th Street Bridge Park with several green spaces and mixed-use buildings.
