A: SNAP, WIC, and Produce Plus Patients are eligible for a free share and volunteers are eligible for a ‘Labor of Love’ Share after working at one of our farms garden.

Q: What is a CSA?
A: Community Support Agriculture or a weekly food share. A traditional CSA takes upfront payments from customers in exchange for a weekly share of produce from a local farm. The upfront payments allow farmers the capital needed to start the growing season and provides customers with fresh produce for Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons at low costs. THEARC provides a variety of CSA shares e.g. for purchase, subsidized, or ‘Labor of Love.’

A: Individuals can sign up for the CSA by completing an online or in-person application.

A: You can volunteer at any of the farms and gardens in our network by visiting the volunteer information page.
